Circular plastics
Recycle, transform and reuse
Recycle, transform and reuse
Since 1950, the consumption of plastics has grown exponentially, so that today almost 300 million tons (Mt) of plastic waste are generated every year in the world. Most of them are abandoned or not treated properly, damaging our health and polluting the planet. Furthermore, plastic waste contains reusable substances as raw materials or fuels, which means that we are throwing away valuable resources, wasting them in a harmful and unsustainable way.
One of the ways to reduce the problem of plastic is to reduce its consumption, but this does not solve the problem of plastic accumulated in our environment, nor what to do with new waste. Therefore, it is essential to increase recycling to transform waste into new products.
The recycling of plastics is a strategy that involves saving raw materials, energy and emissions, contributes to a circular economy and, in addition, generates thousands of jobs.
OVALL operates in alliance with recycling companies fully integrated into its community. Both our industrial practices and those of our suppliers follow a business ethics policy that fosters sustainable development within the framework of human rights.
