Clean the oceans, reduce waste, change the future.
Clean the oceans, reduce waste, change the future.
Plastic is already the greatest threat to our seas and oceans. If the current trend in plastics manufacturing and management continues, by 2050 there will be 13 billion tons of plastics dumped in landfills or in the environment.
of plastics in our oceans
is dumped each year into seas and waterways
of the plastic produced in the world is not recycled
of marine animals contain microplastics in their viscera
All this material must be recovered to clean the oceans and, therefore, at OVALL we have begun to take sustainable measures to stop this growing epidemic, also turning it into reusable raw material.
It is a high-quality polypropylene, generated from ethically recovered plastic waste in the ocean, as well as preventing plastic waste in the ocean, to transform it into high-grade polypropylene that will be used to manufacture more reusable plastic elements.
OVALL contributes to improving the environment by introducing marine plastic debris into the circular supply chain. OVALL’s strategy reduces waste, recovers plastic before it ends up in our oceans, and provides an alternative source of raw material that replaces conventional plastic production and can be used in a wide range of sustainable products.
Once the plastic is recovered from the oceans, we work with formulas that regenerate the granules, reversing the wear and tear of the waste produced by salt water and UVI rays, giving rise to a material of great quality and versatility.
All our processes, operations and projects meet and exceed the standards and regulations required by the market.
Our developing app records the internal and external traceability of the product, using international standards and applying the latest technology.
For the circular economy to take off in the plastics industry, companies need to believe in sustainability and be willing to embrace these practices and new sustainable products in their businesses.
